Douglas F. Wasser

Douglas F. Wasser, a founding partner of Wasser & Russ, LLP, is an AV rated business and real estate attorney with quality experience in commercial real estate, commercial, corporate, mortgage lending, hotel, banking, estate and trust, co-op and condo, litigation and other business areas of law.

Mr. Wasser represents parties who may be: buying, selling and operating properties; leasing or subleasing office space in Class A buildings in Manhattan and elsewhere in the country; leasing or subleasing retail space; buying or selling businesses; net leasing buildings; purchasing or selling hotels or conducting business as a hotel franchisee; obtaining or refinancing commercial mortgage debt; buying or selling restaurants, resolving labor and employment issues; organizing or restructuring businesses; transferring wealth earned over a lifetime to the next generation; engaged in probate and estate litigation and administration, and reclaiming funds taken from businesses by fraud.

Mr. Wasser graduated from Queens College of the City University of New York with a B.A. in 1977, where he was elected to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges for several consecutive years, and from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Juris Doctorate in 1980. Mr. Wasser was admitted to the New York Bar in March, 1981. Prior to founding Wasser & Russ, LLP, Mr. Wasser spent over 23 years with and was a partner in the Manhattan law firm of Felcher Fox & Litner, P.C.
