Robert Ungerleider is of counsel to the firm. He concentrates in the areas of insurance, real estate (commercial and residential), corporate transactions and commercial litigation. He is an experienced attorney with a long history of representing both large and small clients in small law firms and mid-sized law firms. He was in-house counsel and vice president of National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA, and American Home Assurance Company, two property/casualty insurance company subsidiaries of American International Group (AIG). Also, he was real estate counsel at AIG, in-house counsel to a major New York City real estate development company, village attorney for a prominent Long Island community, an insurance arbitrator and a director on the boards of two publicly traded companies.

As an entrepreneur and successful businessman in his own right, Mr. Ungerleider published trade paperback books, operated a national paging service and an equipment leasing company. He also founded and operated Financial Guarantee Underwriting Agency, Inc., an insurance agency specializing in financial guarantee transactions.
